I am interested in your report but fail to understand whether developing countries, where malaria is so abundent are a aprt of the report or not. If not, could you please explain why. I would also appreciate seeing a true summary of the report before purchasing it. Many thanks and kind regards, Dr. Iris Good

The report you refer to covers the status and production of malaria diagnostic tests, while also covering information about malaria epidemiology and other topics. Given most of the technology mentioned in the summary (monoclonal antibodies, DNA assays, etc) are developed by companies in Europe, the US and Japan, I believe the report focuses on the markets of these countries. However, they do seem to discuss the application of diagnostic technology, and the current status of other aspects of malaria research, which would imply that the developing world (where, as you rightly state, the bulk of malaria cases are found) is also considered.

However, we at Malaria.com are not involved with this report directly in any way, and merely wanted to post the news of its publication, for the interest of our readers. As such, if you have any additional questions specifically about the content of the report, I suggest you contact the publishers/authors. On their website, there is an option to “Enquire before Buying” – the link is here: Research and Markets – Enquire before buying.
