Possible Illness with Malaria?

August 17, 2018 By Malaria Q&A Leave a Comment

Question: I can’t eat and am feeling weak day by day, and am also having stomach pain. what should I do ?

Answer: You should see a medical professional. If you live in a malaria-endemic area, and particularly if fever is one of your symptoms, you should have a malaria test to see if malaria might be the cause of your illness. If it is positive, they will be able to recommend appropriate treatment – in most cases, an artemisinin-based combination therapy medication such as Coartem.
